Information you send us
Contact, quote, and RFP requests may include your name, company, email, phone number, shipment or route details, message, and files you choose to attach. We use that information to answer the inquiry, prepare or confirm a quote, operate the requested service, and protect the form from abuse.
Driver applicants
If you ask about a driving job or apply, we may collect your name, contact details, location, lane and schedule preferences, CDL experience, TWIC and SeaLink status, work and safety history, and answers about your availability and qualifications. For owner-operators, we may also ask about your company, tractor, operating authority, and insurance. We use this information to review your fit for the job, contact you, arrange next steps, and keep the records required for hiring. If a background or motor-vehicle report is needed, we will give you a separate notice and ask for permission first.
How job applications are handled
Our jobs are listed on pigtainer.com, but the application form and recruiting records are hosted by Conterminal. Application answers go directly to Conterminal instead of being stored by pigtainer.com. Authorized Pig-Tainer recruiting staff can review them there. We share applicant information only with people and providers helping us recruit, hire, secure the form, or follow the law. We do not sell applicant information or use application answers for advertising.
How the website works
Vercel hosts this site and provides aggregate website analytics with query strings removed. For visits from major AI answer services, that aggregate measurement may include a fixed service label, such as ChatGPT, and the public landing page path. It does not include prompt text, search text, contact information, or shipment details. Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect forms, and Resend relays contact and quote-request submissions to our business mailboxes. These providers may process basic technical information such as your IP address, browser, and request timing. Embedded maps connect to Google, and social widgets may connect to their providers as they come into view. These providers may receive your IP address and browser information. Our detailed quote builder is delivered by Conterminal, which processes quote and shipment details for estimates, follow-up, and operations.
Optional analytics and advertising
If you allow Analytics, Google may receive page-view and performance events. If you allow Advertising, Google Ads and Meta may receive campaign, page, and conversion events. Pig-Tainer does not send contact fields, free-text messages, exact shipment details, or quote contents in ordinary browser analytics events. Campaign parameters and click identifiers are saved and attached to a lead only after Advertising consent.
Your choices
Optional Google and Meta tools are off until you make a choice. You can allow all, use only essential site functions, or enable Analytics and Advertising separately. You can reopen these settings at any time below. A recognized Global Privacy Control signal keeps Advertising disabled.
Retention and questions
We keep customer and applicant information only as long as reasonably needed to respond, operate the business, complete recruiting, maintain required records, and handle legal obligations. If you are hired, relevant application information may become part of your employment record. To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted, or to withdraw from consideration, email privacy@pigtainer.com. We may need to keep some records when the law requires it.
